Take out your phone. You’re gonna want to set a reminder for this.
SHERLOCK.
Do you hear? SHERLOCK.
It’s returning Sunday night with its season four premiere, titled “The Six Thatchers.” That’s tomorrow.
Why am I so excited about this? Because for the first time, the show will air in both the U.K. and the U.S. on the same day. In years past, we Americans had to wait for the show to air months after it was on in Britain. Or, you know, we threw our fate to the wind and pirated the hell out of it.
But those days are past. Sure, the U.K. will see the episode a good eight or so hours before we see it, but the threat of having episodes spoiled is far less likely than it was before. Just don’t talk to any British people all day Sunday and you’ll be fine.
You can watch the season four premiere of Sherlock on ValleyPBS Sunday night at 9 p.m. It will replay at 10:30 p.m. for you night owls. And, if you need a refresher, the first three seasons plus the Christmas one-off are currently on Netflix.
The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on.
