Get Ready for Thrills: The Clovis Haunted Trail is Back!

Attention all Halloween lovers! The Clovis Haunted Trail is returning for its fourth year, and it’s ready to spook, thrill, and entertain trick-or-treaters of all ages. If you love eerie music, foggy pathways, and creepy creatures, you’re in for a treat—or maybe a trick!

Running from Friday, October 25th to Sunday, October 27th, this outdoor walking experience promises chills around every corner. Picture this: live zombies creeping through fog, ghostly figures floating by, and headstones scattered among the trees. With 17 spooky zones, a haunted maze, and even photo ops along the way, you’ll be in Halloween heaven—well, if you can make it through without jumping!

Located behind the Parkway Trails Shopping Center on the corner of Willow and Nees in Clovis, the Haunted Trail stretches across 2,000 feet of eerie delights. And yes, there will be candy—because what’s Halloween without some sweet treats?

Special Fun for the Little Ones
Back by popular demand is the Kids Hour, happening on Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th from 5 to 6 p.m. This is the perfect time for younger kids to experience the fun of Halloween without the scares. Friendly “monsters” will be handing out candy, and parents can bring their little ones before it gets too spooky. Best part? Your ticket is good for the whole night, so you can return after dark to enjoy the full scare if you dare.

A Scare for a Cause
But the Clovis Haunted Trail is more than just a fun night out. It’s also a chance to support an amazing cause! Local non-profit, Arts Enrichment for All, benefits from the event. This organization encourages kids to get involved in the visual and performing arts, helping them step away from screens and explore their creativity.

“Partnering with the Clovis Haunted Trail allows our students to experience real-world applications like set design, acting, sound, and lighting,” says Erin Burd, Executive Director of Arts Enrichment for All. “It’s an incredible learning opportunity, and it’s so much fun for everyone involved!”

Students from Buchanan High School volunteer as scare actors and behind-the-scenes crew members, earning community service hours for their efforts. It’s a great way for local youth to gain hands-on experience while giving back to the community.

Huge Thanks to Our Sponsors
Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of sponsors, and this year’s lineup is stacked with local businesses that have stepped up to contribute. Special shoutout to Mono Wind Casino, which has been the presenting sponsor for four years running, covering 30% of the production costs. Other sponsors include Kids Kare Schools, 13 Prime Steak, and Valley Fence, just to name a few!

Head YES man at FresYes.com
I grew up in Fresno. Relaxed in its calm breezes, listened with my dad to the crack of the bat at little league baseball games when I was a kid and now take my son to do the same at minor league games. I broadened my mind at its schools (I went to high school right here at San Joaquin Memorial, and to college at Fresno State!) I love that if I drive for two hours in one direction, I can be in the mountains. For two hours in another, luxuriating on a California beach. I can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but still be able to come home to relaxation, calm, and quiet.

I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.

I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
