This weekend we celebrate Moms! Sure – every day feels like it SHOULD be Mother’s Day but this Sunday in particular we pay special attention to our Moms. Leading Oncology Center Announces New Name, Look, & Provider

Local oncology clinic, California Oncology of the Central Valley has rebranded and is now Women’s Cancer Care. The clinic’s founder, Dr. Christopher Perkins, has been the leading breast cancer specialist in the Central Valley for over 25 years. He realized that his clinic’s name and outer image did not match the passion of his team, the advancements in treatment protocols, and the strong relationships forming within. As part of their continued commitment to their patients, the clinic has announced that they will now be known as Women’s Cancer Care. Women’s Cancer Care is the only breast and gynecologic cancer specialist clinic in the Central Valley. Dr. L. Quail State’s very popular classes – Bartending 101 and Whiskeys of the World are back!   Bartending 101 – May 25 at 7 p.m.  $120 per person.Learn everything you need to know to be the best home bartending in your neighborhood. During the class you will learn the history of the cocktail, the foundations of cocktail creation, and  recipes for making cocktails. And of course… you will be making a cocktail!Students will receive a set of professional cocktail shakers, weighted bar spoon, measuring jigger, strainer, and recipe book.  Whiskeys of the World – June 8 at 7 p.m.  $80 per person. Whiskey isn’t limited to Bourbon, Scotch and Irish whiskeys.
