Our list of where to pick up the best locally crafted Thanksgiving meals

Thanksgiving is an exciting time, but planning the perfect Thanksgiving get-together can be a bit of a challenge—especially when it comes to feeding everyone. Making a Thanksgiving feast involves a lot of prepping, cooking, storing, cleaning, and organizing, but what if you just want to avoid all of that this year? Luckily, Fresno is home to some great eateries, stores, restaurants, and catering services. This is our list of where to pick up the best, locally crafted, Thanksgiving meals.

The Market Fresno

The Market is offering meals to serve six, individual meals, and individual sides that can be added to either one. The dinner for six starts at $129.99 and includes a choice of the whole turkey, boneless turkey breast, or a boneless glazed ham, as well as cornbread or sausage stuffing, green bean casserole or roasted butternut squash, mashed potatoes and gravy, butter flake, or wheat dinner rolls, cranberry relish, and pumpkin pie, or pumpkin bread pudding. Additional sides can be ordered to suit larger parties.

Orders must be placed by November 17th, and picked up by November 24th, by 6 PM. Orders can be made by phone at 559-432-3306. Be sure to ask for the deli. The Market is located at 7088 N. West Ave. Fresno, CA 93711.

Westwood BBQ & Spice Co

Westwood is offering a Thanksgiving feast that serves six. The Harvest package is available for $195 and includes sliced turkey breast, honey-cured ham, cornbread sausage stuffing, mac & cheese, golden mashers, WW green beans, gravy, cranberry-orange sauce, dinner rolls, honey butter, apple blue salad, and pecan pie.

Orders must be placed by November 14th, and substitutions will not be accepted. Orders can be made by phone, at 559-449-9227. Westwood BBQ & Spice Co. is located at 8042 N Blackstone Ave Fresno, CA 93720.

Campagnia

Campagnia is offering two-holiday dinners this year, created by Chef Floro. The complete turkey dinner is available for $184, and includes herb-marinated turkey, while the complete rib roast dinner is available for $289 and includes a full herb-roasted rib roast. Both meals also include sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams, orange-cranberry relish, green beans almondine, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie. Extra entrees or sides can be added, à la carte, to accommodate larger groups.

Orders must be made by November 19th and a limited amount of dinners will be sold. Orders can be placed by calling 559-433-3300. Campagnia is located at  1185 E Champlain Dr, Fresno, CA 93720.

Elbow Room Bar and Grill

Elbow Room is offering a to-go feast that serves six to eight people. You can choose between a turkey feast, including a whole roasted turkey, and a ham feast that includes a dijon-brown sugar glazed ham, either for $175. Both meals also include green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, sweet yams, cranberry chutney, dinner rolls, mustard, and a whole pumpkin pie.

Orders can be made online here, and can be picked up on November 24th between 9 am and 7 pm. The Elbow Room is located at 731 W San Jose Ave, Fresno, CA 93704.

Southern Hospitality Company

Southern Hospitality Company is offering à la carte Thanksgiving dishes so you can create your own optimal dinner. Offerings include a traditional herb-roasted whole turkey, for $69.99, and honey baked spiral ham for $74.99, as well as sides like butter chive mashed potatoes, Vegetarian Southern Cornbread Stuffing, citrus and mint cranberry sauce, parmesan asparagus, rosemary cheddar biscuits, green bean casserole, and whole pumpkin pies.
Orders must be placed by November 21st, and pickups and deliveries will be on November 25th. Orders can be made online here, and require a $100 minimum. You can get in touch by calling 559-213-8202. Pickups will be made at the Culvis Culinary Center, located at 3185 Willow Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.

Riley’s Brew Pub

Riley’s Brew Pub is offering Thanksgiving to-go, with a meal that serves 8 for $160. The meal includes sliced boneless turkey breast and honey-baked ham, as well as traditional sides.

Pick-up is on November 24th between 11 am and 6 pm and orders can be made by phone at 559-862-2925. Riley’s Brew Pub will also be open for Thanksgiving dinner, by reservation, and is located at 2674 Owens Mountain Pkwy, Clovis, CA 93611.

Thanksgiving dinner…

Thanksgiving dinner is a wonderful time to spend with family and loved ones and eat great food. It can be a challenge to create a feast for everyone to enjoy together, but luckily, in Fresno, there are so many great places to pick up a Thanksgiving dinner and skip the mess, so you can focus on the important things, like those around you. These are some of our favorite places to pick up locally crafted Thanksgiving dinners this year.

Head YES man at FresYes.com
I grew up in Fresno. Relaxed in its calm breezes, listened with my dad to the crack of the bat at little league baseball games when I was a kid and now take my son to do the same at minor league games. I broadened my mind at its schools (I went to high school right here at San Joaquin Memorial, and to college at Fresno State!) I love that if I drive for two hours in one direction, I can be in the mountains. For two hours in another, luxuriating on a California beach. I can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but still be able to come home to relaxation, calm, and quiet.

I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.

I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
