The Fresno/Clovis area has just welcomed a new food hall—The Third Place Global Eatery. This modern multi-menu food court, café, and brewery is now open at 836 Pollasky, across from Bank of America in Old Town Clovis.

The Third Place offers three menus spanning a variety of global and fusion cuisines, including Asian and Peruvian meals that feature seasonal ingredients. Dishes are orchestrated by the well-known local Executive Chef Robert Vieira.
The Third Place has been a project in the making for nearly two years. After much hard work, the former Franco’s Mexican Restaurant is now home to this novel eatery—a new concept for our area.
Upon entering, you’ll see a dining area to your left and menu boards and a counter for ordering to your right. The menus will rotate seasonally, but a staple items menu will remain constant. Orders are placed at the counter, and guests are texted when their food is ready. Beyond the food counter, on your left, is the first dining patio—a well-appointed and shaded space. Further into the building, Seconds Café offers boba teas, coffee, and vegan soft serve, including a pineapple soft serve similar to a Disney Dole Whip.
To the right of the café, there is another larger, indoor dining area and doors to the large back patio, which features shade sails, ample seating, greenery, and a brewery bar hosted by Crow & Wolf. The back patio will soon be equipped with misters to help keep guests cool during the Valley’s hot summer days.
Currently, The Third Place is in its soft-opening phase, so I encourage patience and kindness as the team has clearly put in a ton of work to get this special place up and running.
I took my mother and mother-in-law as an early Mother’s Day treat this past Saturday. We ordered the Skirt Steak Chimichurri Grilled Cheese, which was served on toasted bread with a garlicky dipping sauce and stuffed full of well-seasoned steak, the Umami Yucca Fries (which all three of us picked at and really enjoyed), and the Beer-Battered Fish Tacos, which my mother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed.
We capped off our meal with drinks from the café. I had the Strawberry Cinnamon Iced Latte, which was unique and really tasty. My mom enjoyed the refreshing Dragonfruit Iced Tea, and my mother-in-law loved her Strawberry Cheese Shake.
I’m really excited to see something like The Third Place open in our metro area, and I look forward to returning to try new menu items and see how things continue to evolve as the eatery completes its soft opening phase.
