Santa Claus Lane Opening Night

Where: 3116 Indianapolis Lane, Clovis
When: 6-10 p.m. Friday 
What: This is a driving and walking night. Concessions will be available and FREE pictures with Santa Claus!

Where: Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co.
When: 7 p.m. Friday 
What: Live music.

The Goonies film sceening

Where: Crest Theatre
When: 8 p.m. Friday 
What: In order to save their home from foreclosure, a group of misfits set out to find a pirate’s ancient valuable treasure.

Where: Full Circle Brewing Co.
When: 8 p.m. Friday 
What: An eclectic variety of latin and world grooves blended with electronic sounds and rhythms. Visuals, art, dancing, drinks, food, and cumbias.

Where: Saroyan Theatre
When: 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
What: Ballet.

Dogs, Brews, and Ugly Holiday Sweaters!

Where: Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co.
When: 4-9 p.m. Saturday 
What: Charity event for the Fresno Humane Society. There will be music, beer and a chance to have a holiday photo taken with your dog (for a donation of either $10 or a minimum 10 lb. bag of food).

Class: Intro to Sewing

Where: Root Access Hackerspace
When: 5:30 p.m. Saturday 
What: Learn how to sew and make a simple potholder. Bring your own sewing machine or use one on site. Learn the basics of using the machine and the basics of fabric, how to cut your fabric, and how to layer it for this project. Techniques will include reinforcing corners and clipping edges to relieve bulk for turning.

26th Annual Bass Lake Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade of Lights

Where: The Pines Resort, Bass Lake
When: 5 p.m. Saturday 
What: Float parade and contest, holiday music, snacks, soup and hot beverages available for purchase, holiday raffle, free kids bike raffle, arrival of Santa Claus, tree lighting ceremony, pictures with Santa.
