Saturday is a great day for checking out some new Fresno events, including the first ever Renegade: Fresno Student Fringe Festival. This event starts at 9 a.m. at the Tower Theatre.

At 12 p.m. is the inaugural AlleyWave Alley Party. The party, hosted by the Broadway Event Center, will be held in the alley between Broadway and H streets, and Inyo and Mono streets. AlleyWave is free to the public and all ages. There will be food trucks, art vendors, live music, street performers, and DJs along the alley, as well as two full bars, seating, and entertainment inside the event center.

Soccer fans can get their fix when the Fresno Football Club kicks off its inaugural season at Chukchansi Park at 7 p.m. Soccer promises to become an even bigger fixture in Fresno, so now is the time to start supporting our local team.

If you’re looking for St. Patrick’s Day fun, Goldstein’s Mortuary and Delicatessen is starting the party early at 6 a.m. There will be plenty of beer and breakfast burritos.

From there, check out the St. Patrick’s party happening at Sequoia Brewing Company in the Tower District. It starts at 11 a.m. and there will of course be green beer, an Irish food menu, and bagpipers.

Enjoy some Irish tunes with QPOP at Gazebo Gardens Nursery at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., The Artourage presents Saint Patrick’s Day with Requiem, Pyrograph, Sellout (CD Release), For The Record, and Strange Earth at Full Circle Brewing Co.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
