2nd Annual Fresno Spring Fair

Fair food, carnival rides, and live music and attractions. Read more about this event, which takes place all weekend long, here.

Mariposa Butterfly Festival

Get the details on this annual three-day family festival in Mariposa here.

Respite by the River: McLane High School ArtVenture Program

From 6-8 p.m. this evening, take a break from the rush of everyday life and join the River Parkway Trust for a Respite by the River. Bring your picnic dinner, blanket and lawn chair, and relax on the Ranch House front lawn while you enjoy live music and a reading. Dessert and wine will be available for sale. Free admission. Rods on the Bluff

Rods on the Bluff takes place the first Friday of every month unless otherwise noted. This event brings upwards of 500 beautiful cars as well as vendors all taking place with the San Joaquin River as a backdrop. From 5-9 p.m. at the Park Place Fresno shopping center, Palm and Nees. [Details]

Fresno Grizzlies vs. Sacramento River Cats

The Fresno Grizzlies take on the Sacramento River Cats tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Chukchansi Park. As part of Farm Grown Fridays, there will be a farmers market on the concourse. After the game, there will be fireworks. Gates open at 6:05 p.m. Tickets start at $8. [Details]

Patrick Contreras at Full Circle Brewing Co

From 8 p.m. to midnight tonight, enjoy the sounds of Patrick Contreras, his violin and his six-piece band at Full Circle Brewing Co. in downtown Fresno. Doors at 8 p.m. All ages. Admission is $10. [Details]

Star Wars Fans Blood Drive “The Blood Drive Strikes Back”

Join other Star Wars fans in giving blood at the Central California Blood Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The 501st Legion South Valley Squad will be on site with the coolest Star Wars characters, and special limited edition T-shirts will be available for all donors while supplies last. Fresno Urban Market’s ~ Mother of All Events

Fresno Urban Market’s take on all things spring and motherly. Come out to shop, eat and drink Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Full Circle Brewing Co. Free to attend. All ages. [Details]

VIBE Soul Food Fest

Fresno Black Wall Street presents Vibe Soul Food Fest at Bitwise Industries in downtown Fresno from 2-7 p.m. Saturday. Free and open to public. [Details]

Flies, Cockroaches and Poets Reading

A reading to celebrate the 2017 Flies, Cockroaches and Poets journal release hosted by Chicanx Writers and Artists Association will take place at the Conley Art Building, Room 101, at Fresno State from 5-7 p.m. Saturday [Details]

Spring Wine Walk

From 5-8:30 p.m. Saturday, stroll the streets of Old Town Clovis, enjoying delicious wine and food tastings from a variety of wineries and local restaurants. Participating wineries are located throughout Old Town Clovis in shops and boutiques. Shop, sip and taste your way through Old Town Clovis and then purchase the wines you love in the Wine Shop, located at the corner of 5th and Pollasky. Tickets are $35-$45. [Details]

2017 Opening Night: Fresno Fuego vs. Burlingame Dragons

From 7:30-9:30 pm. Saturday at Chukchansi, join the Fresno Fuego as they take on the Burlingame Dragons. Admission is $11 for Phoenix Club, $8 for general admission and supporter sections, and $6 for youth general admission. Children 3 and under are free but are not provided a seat. [Details]

Handmade Sunday: May Edition

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Gazebo Gardens Nursery, shop for the finest plants and gifts for Mom. There will be 30+ vendors plus food trucks and beer amongst the gardens. [Details]

Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. Tours

Do you want an inside look of Tioga-Sequoia’s brewery? Tours take place every first Sunday of the month at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. [Details]
