Sometimes the best places to grab a bite to eat or a drink with friends don’t always get the limelight — sometimes (most of the time actually!) these memorable places are the smaller local venues that get overlooked by reviewers.
Here we have created a list of 10 amazing local breweries that are worth checking out if you’ve never done so before (or revisiting if it’s been a while!)
1. Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company
This brewery is located in the Brewery District in downtown Fresno and is known for its world-class beers as well as helping protect the Southern Sierra. You can order your beer online and pick it up curbside, have it delivered locally, or have it shipped anywhere in California! Check out their website here.

2. Crow & Wolf
Crow & Wolf offers a variety of fun, inventive, and award-winning beers that highlight their partnerships with the local farm. These local farms are where Crow & Wolf source their ingredients. 3. MachineHead Brewing Co.
MachineHead Brewing Co. has recently been nominated for Fresno’s Best Brewery. This is in part due to their wonderful service, and constant creativity in their beers. They specialize in a multitude of beers, and have indoor and outdoor seating for anyone to enjoy! Patrons return for their friendly service, and a new beer every week!

4. House of Pendragon Brewing Company
House of Pendragon Brewing Company specializes in small-batch artisan lagers and ales and is the first (and only) microbrewery in Sanger, CA. At this brewery, nothing is off-limits and they love coming up with new and innovative flavors for their beers — which customers love!

5. Full Circle Brewing Company
Full Circle Brewing Company offers delicious craft brews as well as “beertainment.” They offer to ship anywhere in California as well! They are also an active member of the Fresno community and are working to help revitalize Downtown Fresno as well as Chinatown. Patrons adore the beer, live music, and community feeling of this brewery.

6. 411 Broadway Ales & Spirits
411 Broadway Ales & Spirits are always showcasing a new and tasty drink for their customers. With a welcoming atmosphere where you can sit, talk, and play a game of tic tac toe, you’ll want to try a number of their unique beers! Customers come back to see 411’s friendly staff, that are passionate about what they do!

7. Summer Fox Brewing
This unique taproom in the NorthWest Fresno area features 24 different taps, handcrafted food, and an almost 5,000 square-foot facility! Customers love the delicious food, amazing taps, and pet-friendly nature of Summer Fox Brewing. It is a great place to hang out with friends, or go to events or game nights!

8. Incinerati Brewing Co.
Incinerati Brewing Co. brings art and science together to create their tasty beers. Visit their brewery, and you can try several beers in one of their curved glasses. Customers are amazed at their tasty sour ales and their friendly service. Incinerati is kid-friendly, making it the perfect spot to hang out with your friends and family!

9. Procreations Brewing
Procreations Brewing is a small batch brewery, with an atmosphere that makes you want to sit and try their unique drinks! Their menu is full of diverse beers that don’t disappoint, but they go fast! 10. Tactical Ops Brewing
This brewery is veteran-owned, and its employees are veterans and are first responders. Tactical Ops brewing gives discounts to both veterans and first responders, and gives refreshing beer to every customer! They have something on the menu for everyone and frequent community events on their calendar! Customers love their attentive and friendly service and their clear care for their beer!
