POLL: The Best Place to get your car washed in Fresno

The weather is supposed to clear up later this weekend and looking at our poor car parked under the tree outside it’s in dire need of a really good car wash. The sunshine can’t come quick enough. We did a quick search of the yelp directory and found a few local car washes with very limited amounts of reviews so now we’re more confused.

When you talk about car washes, there’s the variations like mobile, there’s the detailing guys, and then there’s all the “upsells”. Do we really want that iconic pine tree hanging from our mirror?

Here’s a few places we found on Yelp, but where’s your favorite spot to go?

Raceway Car Wash

There’s a few locations to choose from in Clovis and Fresno. The one on 6623 N. Milburn Ave Fresno, CA 93722 has all of just 5 reviews – 5! They seem to be a chain operating in different states. They also have a “membership” plan.

Red Carpet Car Wash

The location we pulled up first was at 4411 N Blackstone Ave, Fresno, CA 93726 and while they have 270 reviews on yelp right now, they only have a 2.9 rating. They seem to have a bunch of locations in the Fresno / Clovis area.

Ride & Shine

We noticed Red Carpet had a ‘sister’ location advertised on their website at 202 S Clovis Ave, Fresno, CA 93727 called Ride & Shine and quick search for them in Yelp yields quite a few location options! Seriously! No fewer than 8 different spots in our area! https://www.redcarpetcarwash.com/express-wash

So now we’re even more confused.
