Ready to Lose 20 Pounds in 4 Weeks? Here’s How

Are you ready to finally shed those extra pounds and feel like the best version of yourself? If you’re tired of being stuck and want a proven strategy that works, you’re in the right place.

These are the same steps I’ve taught hundreds of men to achieve life-changing results—without gimmicks or wasting time. Let’s dive in.


1️⃣ Set a Clear Calorie Goal

The foundation of weight loss is understanding your calorie needs. Start by calculating your maintenance calories using a TDEE calculator. Once you know your number, create a calorie deficit of 500–750 calories per day.

To preserve muscle and accelerate fat loss, prioritize protein. Aim for at least 1 gram of protein per pound of your goal weight.

2️⃣ Build Every Meal Around Protein + Veggies

Make your meals work for you by focusing on lean proteins and nutrient-dense vegetables. Not only will this combo keep you full, but it will also fuel your body to burn fat.

Here are some simple examples to get started:

  • Breakfast: Egg whites, spinach, and avocado.
  • Lunch: Grilled chicken with broccoli.
  • Snack: Protein shake with chia seeds.
  • Dinner: Salmon, asparagus, and sweet potatoes.

3️⃣ Move More Every Day

Movement is key to creating a calorie deficit and boosting your metabolism. Aim for:

  • 10,000–15,000 steps daily: Walking is one of the easiest and most effective ways to burn calories.
  • Strength or HIIT workouts: Add 10–15 minutes of strength training or high-intensity interval training (HIIT) 3–4 times per week to amplify your results.

4️⃣ Hydrate and Eliminate Liquid Calories

Hydration is often overlooked, but it’s critical for fat loss. Aim for 1 gallon of water daily to keep your body functioning optimally.

At the same time, cut out sugary drinks and liquid calories like sodas and alcohol. Stick to water, black coffee, or tea to keep your progress on track.


5️⃣ Get Sleep and Accountability

Your body needs time to recover. Getting 7–8 hours of quality sleep per night helps maximize fat loss and overall health.

Pair your sleep routine with accountability. Whether it’s a partner, tracking your progress, or working with a coach (that’s where I come in!), accountability makes all the difference in sticking to your goals.

I grew up in Fresno. Relaxed in its calm breezes, listened with my dad to the crack of the bat at little league baseball games when I was a kid and now take my son to do the same at minor league games. I broadened my mind at its schools (I went to high school right here at San Joaquin Memorial, and to college at Fresno State!) I love that if I drive for two hours in one direction, I can be in the mountains. For two hours in another, luxuriating on a California beach. I can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but still be able to come home to relaxation, calm, and quiet.

I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.
