Friday Night Lights: The Return of High School Football

DSC01597One of the more anticipated times of the year has officially arrived for sports fans. It’s when the temperature outside begins to cool down, and the start of football begins to heat up. Numerous people claim college and professional football as their “soap opera”, because it is what they enjoy to watch, and follow week by week. Fans watch in hopes that their favorite team will win a championship, and see legends being made at the same time. Fans also watch for the action and excitement; to capture those memories of when that “amazing” play/performance, or that “miracle” come from behind victory happened. We earn a sense of gratitude when we get to know the players on TV as we watch their football talents on display against a different team each week. We start to become emotionally attached to our favorite team(s); investing time and money into watching the games. You may be asking yourself what my point is. My point is that the reasons why we enjoy watching college and professional football should be the same reasons why we enjoy watching high school football in our own backyard.

High school football brings just as much excitement to fans as college and professional football does. Heroes, and unforgettable moments are made every Friday night during high school football games throughout the FresYes area! The environment will surely satisfy your Friday night urge for entertainment. The games intensify, as the stadium lights glare off the players’ helmets and the schools marching band play their instruments in the back ground during timeouts. The food and ticket prices are more-less cheap for a football game, and you don’t have to travel out of town to see the games in person. If the student environment is too much to handle, you can always sit on the visitor’s sideline. There will more than likely be fewer students on that side line, which can allow you to enjoy the actual game better.DSC01637

It is also worth noting that majority of professional football players played football in high school as well. So when you see that beastly dominant player unexpectedly take over a football game, you could potentially be seeing a professional football star in the early stages of their greatness right before your very eyes! If that doesn’t excite football fans, then I don’t know what will. Come out and enjoy a fundamentally sound high school football game if you get the chance. Chances are you will get your money’s worth, have an entertaining Friday night, and possibly learn a couple new things about the game we all love, football.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
