Immanuel lost their first two games of the season this week at the Modesto Christian Hoops Tournament. The first loss was a close two point loss to Modesto Christian, and their second loss came to El Cerrito who is one of the best teams in the state. Fresno High and Madera South High are now the only 2 teams to have only one loss in the Fresno Area.
Clovis West looked very strong, and is most likely the next team to take over the top ten if Fresno High or Madera South lose next week. No matter how you cut it, there is a lot of competitive teams. One week can completely change the momentum of who is the dominant team in the valley.

Game recaps of the week:

On Monday, The Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) were able to hold on for a 48-43 victory over the Memorial Panthers at the Clovis Elks Classic. A couple missed shots in the fourth quarter for Memorial was all it took for them to lose the momentum and the game. The Panthers leading scorers were Lunden Taylor (15), and Ryan Beecher (10). The Highlanders leading scorer was Austin Arnoldini (12).

Fresno 74, Selma 63

Clovis West also won for the second time this week. Their point guard #5 had an impressive game, and the ball was spread around nicely. The Golden Eagles dominated all aspects of the game.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
