Patio Dining in the Fresno Clovis Area

Can you believe we’re expecting a chance of rain Saturday Morning? It’ll be just a chance and should clear out by noon – in plenty of time for tailgating at the Bulldog Game.

REMEMBER:

We’re giving away two tickets (red seats) to one lucky person who takes our quiz. The quiz is super easy and you’ll find it in our newsletter “The FresYes Insider” that goes out at 7am on Saturday Morning so check your email. While it’s a night game, we’re picking a winner Saturday at Noon – so don’t waste time – get in there and win!

With the weather this nice there’s one thing we really want to do and did you know we have a whole category for it on the site?

alfresco al-FRESS-koh adjective or adverb. : taking place or located in the open air : outdoor, outdoors.

Yes, it’s dining on the patio! How did you guess? Our Patio, your patio, or any one of the fabulous restaurant patios in our area, with the temps like they are it’s perfect for a little alfresco activity!

FRIDAY NIGHT: Let’s head downtown and visit Libelula. We did an interview of them a little while ago. https://fresyes.com/downtown-fresno/fresyes-interview-libelula/

Everything they make is fabulous – but check out their “Burger of the Week”.The Sloppy Giuseppe. It’s Angus beef with Hot Soppressata, caramelized mozzarella, arugula, onion and smothered in meat sauce smeared with ricotta and brushed with garlic butter!

Oh, and yes it can be made vegetarian on request. They are not an open late kind of place so get there early.

SATURDAY MORNING: After you’ve taken the quiz you’ll have a few hours to kill before you start face painting so let’s go to brunch! The Train Depot is another place we’ve written about. (https://fresyes.com/fresno/the-train-depot/)

What should you order? The Train Wreck is the big winner here. Yes they have patio dining available.

Sunday: As you bask in the warm glow of yet another Bulldog win, let’s pop into Eureka! They have plenty of patio (and plenty of bourbon).

We like to start with an order of Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts. For the cocktail of choice… right now it’s got to be a “Tipsy Pig Old Fashioned” – it’s an incredible bacon-infused Whistle Pig 10 yr. rye, bitters and barrel aged maple syrup!

If we did a burger on Friday night at Libelula is it too soon for one today? Not for us, and if not for you – order the “FresYes Fig Burger“. Yes, your server will try to correct you and say “Did you mean the Fresno Fig Burger?” At which point you can tell them that they must have misspelled it on the menu. It’s obviously supposed to be FresYes.

Seriously. Could that burger look any better? Fig marmalade / melted goat cheese / bacon / tomato / red onion / arugula / spicy porter mustard – FTW!

Head YES man at FresYes.com
I grew up in Fresno. Relaxed in its calm breezes, listened with my dad to the crack of the bat at little league baseball games when I was a kid and now take my son to do the same at minor league games. I broadened my mind at its schools (I went to high school right here at San Joaquin Memorial, and to college at Fresno State!) I love that if I drive for two hours in one direction, I can be in the mountains. For two hours in another, luxuriating on a California beach. I can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but still be able to come home to relaxation, calm, and quiet.

I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.

I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

Fresno? I say FresYES

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
