If you’ve spent any time over the years enjoying the food trucks or shopping Enzo’s Table for local olive oil, nuts, dried fruit, and other locally grown goodies, you’re going to be amazed at how much the once humble shop has transformed. On the southeast corner of Shepherd and Willow Avenues, right on the Fresno-Clovis line, Enzo’s Table’s new storefront and coffee/wine bar is an absolute sight to see.
The new Enzo’s Table, with its warm lighting, plenty of natural light, opulent marble and brass finishes, and open, airy layout, looks like something straight out of New York’s Upper East Side. It’s truly stunning.

As you enter, you’ll notice that products are organized by type, with signage printed in Italian as a nod to the Ricchiuti family behind the business. You’ll find sections for gourmet dried fruits, dressings and special toppings, olive oil with and without infusions, vinegars, sweets, breads, charcuterie fixings, and more. A large center table near the registers showcases a colorful spread of candy, chocolate-coated nuts, and other goodies packaged beautifully for gifting.

To the right of the main shopping area is a gorgeous round room with a high ceiling and comfortable seating. Guests were working, meeting, reading, and chatting over coffee. It reminded me of a very elegant study or library, and it felt like the kind of space you could happily spend time in.

As you make your way through the store, you’ll arrive at the stunning marble coffee bar, Il Caffe, set atop black and white subway tile with a copper relief ceiling overhead. There you can take a seat at the bar or nearby cafe table and order a handcrafted coffee, pastry, frittata, or even a glass of wine. The atmosphere manages to feel formal and special yet still inviting and comfortable, which is a tough balance to strike.

My friend and I stopped by the day before Thanksgiving to get ideas for holiday gifts and enjoy a coffee while catching up. Our baristas were friendly and attentive, handing us menus as soon as we sat down. I ordered the honey latte, which was velvety and rich, with espresso that paired smoothly with the honey. It wasn’t too sweet and wasn’t bitter either. My friend’s mocha was creamy, sweet, and smooth. We both loved our drinks and would absolutely order them again.

Outside the cafe area, an expansive patio stretches along the building, complete with a fireplace on one end and dotted with lemon and olive trees. It was a cold day when we visited, but on a warmer day I could easily imagine enjoying a glass of wine out there while waiting for a table at Willow Osteria, the new Italian restaurant from Jimmy Pardini right next door.

Enzo’s Table has truly elevated the experience of shopping for local products, and so many of the items inside would make perfect gifts for the holidays or for the cooks and hosts in your life. I’m so impressed with the atmosphere and design of the new space and look forward to sharing more coffees there with loved ones and maybe even getting some work done in that beautiful study room with the high ceiling. We’re lucky to have such a special place here in town.

Enzo’s Table is located at 1959 N. Willow Ave. in Clovis and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, closing at 5 p.m. on Sundays.
