Fresno Filmworks presents Faces Places

Where: Tower Theatre
When: 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday 
What: French documentary Faces Places follows Agnes Varda and photographer and muralist J.R. on their journey through rural France as they photograph locals.

Intro to Soldering – Flickering Flame

Where: Root Access Hackerspace
When: 6 p.m. Friday 
What: Soldering is a fundamental skill for any sort of electronics work, and this class will teach you how to safely solder components onto a circuit board.

Shamanic Journey Drum Circle

Where: The Dawn of Time, 2904 E. Fedora Ave., Fresno
When: 6:30 p.m. Friday 
What: This circle is an introduction to sacred drumming and shamanic journeying for men and women. The first few meetings are an opportunity to learn the “shamanic journey technique” and connect with your power animals, guides and teachers.

What: The dancers of Black Sands Belly Dance will be performing alongside guest dancers. Bring your dancing shoes for open-floor.
