The modern movement in architecture thrived from the late 1940s to the mid-1960s and dominated the zeitgeist. It won over our hearts with its attention to clean lines, modern improvements on homes, and sprawling-space aesthetics. These things still delight home buyers and architecture enthusiasts alike.

Even though the modern movement evolved and trends in housing changed significantly over the last few decades, mid-century modern has seen a recent revival in interest. These homes are simply drop-dead gorgeous.

These homes often feature low-slope roofing, plenty of open space, and large open windows. They hold a unique charm that’s difficult to replicate. Mid-century modern homes are less common than they once were. It can be difficult to find listings, but there are quite a few gems right here in Fresno. These are 3 gorgeous, mid-century modern homes located right here, in Fresno.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
