At FresYes, home and community are about more than where we live. They are also about the people, traditions, and stories that stay with us. For Mandy Herring, one of our FresYes agents, honey will always mean much more than something sweet for a cup of tea or a warm biscuit. It represents her dad, Richard Sanchez, lovingly known by many as “The Honeyman.”

Richard had a special connection to honey and everything it represents: patience, hard work, nature, and sharing something good with others. Over time, honey became part of the way he connected with people. A jar was never simply something to keep in the pantry. It could be enjoyed around the family table, given as a thoughtful gift, or shared with a friend who could use a little kindness.
Richard passed away on May 12, 2026. His loss is deeply felt by Mandy and her family, but the memories he created and the things he cared about continue to be part of their lives.

Today, Mandy is honoring her dad by continuing to share something that was such a meaningful part of his life. The Honeyman’s honey is now available for purchase and pickup at the FresYes office. 🍯

There is a wonderful variety to choose from, including Sage, Star Thistle, Alfalfa, Avocado, Cotton Wildflower, Orange, and Buckwheat, along with Honeycomb in Raw Honey and Bee Pollen. Each variety has its own unique color and flavor, giving you plenty of ways to discover a favorite.
The Honeyman’s honey is available now for purchase and pickup at FresYes Realty. Stop by, choose your favorite variety, and enjoy something sweet with a special story behind it. 🍯
