As someone who deeply values supporting local and small businesses, I take great joy in stumbling upon a new-to-me business that instantly wins my heart. Today’s discovery was exactly that—a delightful surprise!
While waiting for my lunch order across the street, I spotted a new boutique in the Pavilion West shopping center at Bullard & West called Elisabeth & Faith. I was immediately drawn in by its vibrant pink and girly aesthetic. As I browsed, I realized it wasn’t just a paradise for all things feminine, it was also a haven for Halloween lovers and Swifties!
The store is filled with hanging racks of apparel, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, cardigans, jackets, children’s and even infant clothing, plus super soft bamboo pajamas. Every piece features custom designs inspired by Halloween, favorite spooky movies, or Taylor Swift lyrics. When I spoke with the shop manager, she shared that Elisabeth & Faith is locally owned by designer Jen Antonsen. Jen started her business during the pandemic, creating and selling her designs online while in lockdown. As the world began to reopen, her business blossomed, and her collections expanded. Jen uses her clothing line as a way to create memories that celebrate family traditions, holidays, and special moments. She regularly launches new collections that can be reserved online or shopped in-store at her new brick-and-mortar location.
The boutique’s name, Elisabeth & Faith, comes from Jen’s two daughters’ middle names. Their interests have shaped many of the store’s designs, including the seasonal Swiftie collections, which I couldn’t resist! I picked up a fall/Swiftie-themed belt bag and a “So High School” crewneck sweatshirt, perfect for my son’s upcoming homecoming game.
Elisabeth & Faith specializes in women’s and children’s clothing, all made with infant-safe inks and most of it sewn right here in California using organic cotton and natural fabrics. (I’m already eyeing a pair of their silky-soft bamboo pajamas for myself this holiday season!)
Jen’s designs are irresistibly cute and stylish enough for women to enjoy wearing. Beyond clothing, the shop also offers home décor items like Capri Blue candles, themed candlestick holders, garlands, and wall hangings.
