While the temps are certainly not Fall worthy (yet) they are falling a bit. The days are shorter and there is a little coolness in the morning air.
Then again, depending on how close you are to certain coffee shops you might detect the faintest of scents that Fall is just around the corner. If the wafting PSL doesn’t give you the feels, we know exactly what will. Bulldog Football!

Hey! It’s our home opener, how could we not be excited about it!
In case you missed it, last week we played Purdue and won 39-35 in the season opener. It could not have been more exciting too!
With only 4 minutes and 30 seconds left on the clock, the quarterback (Sophomore Mikey Keene) orchestrated an impressive 79-yard scoring drive in slightly more than three and a half minutes during his first game as a Bulldog. He became the first Bulldog quarterback in school history to throw for more than 300 yards in his debut since 1997.
On the defensive side, Senior linebacker Levelle Bailey, and seasoned defensive captain recorded an impressive stat line against Purdue, tallying five tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss (TFL), 1 forced fumble, and two pass breakups. Notably, he delivered a crucial pass breakup during Purdue’s last offensive attempt, resulting in a turnover on downs within the game’s last 30 seconds.
Furthermore, Bailey played a pivotal role in a fourth-quarter stop during a fourth and goal situation, denying Purdue any points on the drive and preserving Fresno State’s lead.
