While the temps are certainly not Fall worthy (yet) they are falling a bit. The days are shorter and there is a little coolness in the morning air. |

Hey! It’s our home opener, how could we not be excited about it! |

In case you missed it, last week we played Purdue and won 39-35 in the season opener. It could not have been more exciting too! |
|
|
With only 4 minutes and 30 seconds left on the clock, the quarterback (Sophomore Mikey Keene) orchestrated an impressive 79-yard scoring drive in slightly more than three and a half minutes during his first game as a Bulldog. He became the first Bulldog quarterback in school history to throw for more than 300 yards in his debut since 1997. |

On the defensive side, Senior linebacker Levelle Bailey, and seasoned defensive captain recorded an impressive stat line against Purdue, tallying five tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss (TFL), 1 forced fumble, and two pass breakups. Notably, he delivered a crucial pass breakup during Purdue’s last offensive attempt, resulting in a turnover on downs within the game’s last 30 seconds. |

Furthermore, Bailey played a pivotal role in a fourth-quarter stop during a fourth and goal situation, denying Purdue any points on the drive and preserving Fresno State’s lead. |

|
