Happy Homecoming! I will admit that it has been a minute since I’ve experienced the excitement of Homecoming at Fresno State. Bulldog Pride was everywhere – especially in the student section seats. This yearHomecoming coincides with The Bulldogs’ home opener, mashing together two of my favorite days of the season. While yelling at the TV won’t have nearly the same satisfaction as it does in person, I’m still excited to support our ‘Dogs and am very grateful to have a season to watch at all. Go DOGS!!

Since we can’t be at the stadium cheering our ‘Dogs on, here’s a couple of ways to participate at home:

Join the Jog With The Dogs– Virtual 5k! Put on your shoes and get outside to show off your Bulldog Pride. Grab a friend or two, your kids and furry friends to participate from wherever you are. You can run it, walk it, stroll it or roll it, just get it done! Click the photo above to register and for more info.

The Bulldogs have launched a new app to keep fans connected 365 days of the year.  Available on both

Apple

 and

Android

platforms, the app is powered by Sidearm Sports, the same engine driving gobulldogs.com. It includes real-time updates to the program, schedules, media, and behind-the-scenes content to connect fans in a virtual experience.

In addition to up-to-date content, fans will be able to play along this season from home. The new “Doghouse Game-Day” virtual experience brings the energy of in-stadium promotions, engagement, and trivia for Bulldog football games to your phone. Fans can play along during games, win prizes, and compete with other Fresno State fans.

Fresno Real Estate has gone virtual! Upland, a game likened to “Monopoly”, just opened Fresno up to its marketplace as a way to let new users have a chance to buy and sell property. Upland combines real estate values from Zillow with blockchain technology to buy and own virtual properties within the game. Players use an online currency called UPX to complete the purchases. With future plans to enable a social media aspect, add fun additional features, and expand to other cities, now is the time to start creating your Monopoly in Fresno!Sign up by clicking the photo above. BONUS! As a friend of FresYes, you’ll be gifted free UPX when you use the link above to register.

Head YES man at FresYes.com
I grew up in Fresno. Relaxed in its calm breezes, listened with my dad to the crack of the bat at little league baseball games when I was a kid and now take my son to do the same at minor league games. I broadened my mind at its schools (I went to high school right here at San Joaquin Memorial, and to college at Fresno State!) I love that if I drive for two hours in one direction, I can be in the mountains. For two hours in another, luxuriating on a California beach. I can enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but still be able to come home to relaxation, calm, and quiet.

I love where I live, and I also love what I do. I'm lucky to be able to work in a profession in which I get to build relationships; one that has me meeting new people each and every day and helping them to build new lives in my beloved city. I'm lucky enough to work in a profession in which I can marry cutting-edge technologies and marketing techniques to good, old-fashioned, nose-to-the-grindstone work. I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to work as an advocate for my clients; to use every tool at my disposal to get a job done well for them, and with as little stress and expense as possible.

I love my city. I love my job. One inspires my excellence for the other.

Who is FresYes?

Fresyes.com was started by me, Jason Farris. Yes, I'm in real estate. I think that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes. It's all about the lifestyle, it's about community. Here in the Fresno / Clovis area we have such a wonderful sense of community. I wanted a place that best reflects the people, the places and the lifestyle that we call home. Fresyes.com is that place. We have fabulous authors who share what makes this community of ours so special. I also write here, and not always about real estate. You can find all my posts HERE
