Last month we featured Downtown Fresno’s Sun Stereo Warehouse building. It is located on Fulton Street across from Tioga Sequoia’s Beer Garden. Today, I want to highlight a new boutique located inside the Sun Stereo Warehouse: House of Morii.
House of Morii is a locally-owned women’s clothing store created by business partners Amanda Espindola and Jasmin Mejia. Located on north wall of the first floor of Sun Stereo Warehouse, the boutique welcomes you in. It gives you a hint toward the style of its clothing offerings with an Instagrammable, boho-style wicker egg-chair in its entry. The racks of clothing that spill into the hall are filled with flowy, soft, and light fabrics for summer. There are matching sets, cropped tops, bodysuits, satin dresses, and billowy wide-legged pants.
Inside the store, shoppers will also find accessories like colorful and gold earrings, hats, and paperclip chain bracelets. The woman-owned business carries the type of clothing you look for when you have a special occasion and want to feel great about how you look – a girls’ night out, special birthday dinner, bachelorette party, or a baby or wedding shower. Clothing from House of Morii is the type to garner compliments and “Where did you find that dress?!” comments. And, their prices are reasonable to moderate, not steep like some women’s boutiques can be.
“We wanted to offer something different than you can find easily in Fresno,” said co-owner Jasmin Mejia, “Which is why we travel to bring in new styles from LA every week, so our inventory is always changing and on-trend – there’s always something new to see!”
Conclusion
House of Morii is open for shopping Wednesday through Sunday each week. Customers can also view styles online, pre-pay, and pick up their selections in store if they can’t come in right away.
