King Kong is the father of all modern monster movies. It first thrilled audiences in 1933, and its special effects are quite impressive considering the time period in which it was made.
The film tells of a gigantic, prehistoric, island-dwelling ape called Kong. It is especially noted for its stop-motion animation by Willis O’Brien and a groundbreaking musical score by Max Steiner.
Doors open at 6:00 PM followed by a pipe organ concert at 6:30 PM
Film starts at 7:00 PM
$5 per person
Children 12 and under are FREE!
Typically those who dress in film get in free, but this month anyone who brings a NEW blanket gets in FREE! We’re helping Fresno’s MEAL to collect blankets to be distributed to Fresno’s homeless this holiday season, as part of the 2nd annual #KeepFresnoWarm blanket drive.
*For those who are interested in an adult beverage, Frank’s Place will be open before, during, and after the film.
