Friday

Annual Armenian Festival

Tonight from 4:40 to 10:30 p.m. at St. Paul Fresno, enjoy shish kebob and chicken kebob, pilaf, cheese borag, salad, and Mezza and Armenian Coffee. Dance to music by The Mark Ohanesian Band. The Hye Bazaar, and Country Store will be open. [Details]

Chasing Trane

Fresno Filmworks presents its monthly film selection, Chasing Trane, tonight at both 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the Tower Theatre. Chasing Trane chronicles saxophonist and composer John Coltrane’s personal life and his contribution to music throughout his short yet powerful career. General admission is $10; $8 for seniors and students. [Details]

Friday Farmers Market Kick-off

Every Friday this summer, head to Old Town Clovis for live music, great food, and the best produce the Valley has to offer. Tonight from 5:30 to 9 p.m. [Details]

NerdFest Two!

Let your inner nerd out with an evening of cosplay karaoke, retro gaming, live music, cosplay contest and other activities. Whether you are into movies, video games, anime, superheroes or villains, come and hang out at NerdFest. Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Fulton 55. 21+ | $7 pre-sale/$10 at the door. [Details]

Saturday

The Old Town Flea Market

The Old Town Flea Market is a weekend event held bi-annually showcasing local business owners and artisans in a community setting. Enjoy locally crafted goods, beautifully collected antiques, local food trucks and more. Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Old Town Clovis. [Details, Ticket information]

Malaise Daze Car Show

Have you ever been to a car show where the cars are … maybe not so pretty? The Malaise Daze Car Show is Saturday starting at 11 a.m. at Full Circle Brewing Co. in Fresno. Admittance is free to the public. There will be craft beer from Full Circle, as well as food and vendors. Read our article about Malaise Era cars here. [Details]

Years of Living Dangerously: Fresno

Saturday from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bitwise South Stadium in downtown Fresno, screen select episodes from National Geographic Channel’s Emmy Award-winning documentary series “Years of Living Dangerously.” Each episode examines the growing threat of climate change through compelling stories from around the globe. Craft Beer Festival

Saturday from 2-6 p.m., head to ApCal in Madera for unlimited samples of beer, free soda and water, and live music. $35 advance, $45 at gate, $10 for designated drivers. [Details]

Comic Pub Crawl 2017!

Saturday at 7:30 p.m., join the Fresno Zombie Society for a Tower District pub crawl. Dress as any superhero/villain, sci-fi, horror movie, or action character (costumes are encouraged but not required). Wristbands are o$5 in advance and get you no cover at all bars and drink specials. [Details]

Sunday

Mother’s Day Pop-Up Bakery

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at The Vintage Market at 601, enjoy treats, sweets and shopping with Mom. This event features three bakers: Donna Mott from Ooh De Lolli Kitchen Works and Fine Edibles, Deandra Miller from Sweet Delicates, and Brian Williams. [Details]

Bee Gees Gold – A Tribute!

What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than with the music of one of the best-loved bands of all time? “Bee Gees Gold – The Tribute” have performed in over a dozen countries world wide. From 3 to 6 p.m. at the Tower Theatre. [Details]

Vibe Soul Lounge, Ray Moore

Sunday at 7 p.m., Vibe Soul Lounge is back at Fulton 55 in downtown Fresno. Come for the soulful sounds of a live band and DJ. 21 and over. Tickets are $10-$15. [Details]
