That takes time which is why we want to share this exciting new locally owned business with you. They can help make you better, in less time – and that’s a hole in one for us!
Who are you, where did you come from, and what do you do?
We are Nate and Robert! To be honest, we are just two local dads who found a love for golf. Nate grew up in Fresno for most his life, graduating from Clovis West, and Robert is newer to the area, however, his wife also graduated from Clovis West. For our day jobs, we are both in sales. Nate sells commercial HVAC equipment to local school districts, contractors, etc. and Robert sells packaging for multiple companies throughout the world! We built The Golf Clubs because we know personally how hard it can be to get away for 18 holes or even just practice in the midst of family and work.
Tell us about The Golf Clubs
The Golf Clubs is pretty awesome… We are a member-only, indoor golf facility where you get to practice and play in a temperature-controlled space any day, any time of the year. We went with top-notch Trackman technology to power our simulator bays which allow you to not only play 18 holes, but practice in a way you’ve never done before. The data points, swing graphics, and different practice modes are what can truly improve your game.
We just recently opened up on August 1st, 2023 over in the office district off Palm and Nees. TGC is built with elegance to match the aesthetic of all the other office buildings surrounding us. If you want to have a business meeting or make your next sell in unique fashion, TGC is the answer.
We truly just wanted to bring Central Valley golfers another option whenever the weather is too hot, they don’t have 5+ hours to play or they simply want to advance their game in a way that was not available!
What do you think it is that you do that makes you stand out?
Quality. We built TGC with this one word in mind. We didn’t take any shortcuts or cheap out on anything. When you walk into our facility, you feel as if you just entered a luxurious country club. From using an expert, local turf contractor for the best turf, to our wives decorating and furnishing with very high standards. We truly are as good as we look in our photos!
What is it that most people DON’T know about your business?
People don’t truly understand the value in practicing here at TGC. You can literally go through every piece of your swing and start tweaking it. If you hit the ball too thin, if you come over the top too much, if you hit a slice every time on the tee box, if you hit the toe of your club too often, and on and on. You can finally understand why you are doing any of these negative habits and actually know how to fix it utilizing our data points, swing graphics, video analysis and so much more. Once someone comes in and starts understanding how their game can actually improve here at TGC, they are hooked.
Anything coming up?
We have just partnered with Sunnyside Country Club and San Joaquin Country Club! Fort Washington Country Club is the next on the horizon. The members at these clubs now have access to TGC as a reciprocal member!
We are also working on opening up a third bay at our location here sometime soon. That means more available tee times for our members!
