Recently, we posted a list of the five best places to get a burger in Fresno. As anyone could have predicted, this generated a lot of talk. Mostly of the “this list is crap” variety.
Not everyone hated our picks. Lots of folks were happy to see their favorite burger spot mentioned. Fans of House of Juju, in particular, were pretty pleased.
But others wanted to make sure we knew we missed the mark in some way. And you know what? That’s great.
The point of a list like the one we posted is to let everyone chime in with their opinions. Because let’s face it—favorite burgers is a very subjective topic, and what a buncha FresYes writers think about them is not the final word on the subject.
So, with this in mind, here is a super MEGA list of burger places that includes the top 15 picks as chosen by number of votes (aka mentions on our original blog post and various social media pages), plus a list of honorable mentions that received one vote each.

Not sure what the qualifications are, but Chubby’s Diner Blackstone and sierra, and Fresno Breakfast House have amazing burgers too.
Nick, I *just* ate at Chubby’s an hour ago (the one on Shaw and Blythe) and was thinking, “Damn, how did this not make the list??” Best burger I’ve had in awhile.
