After 5 months running a successful pop-up shop in Clovis, Andrea Van Gronigen, owner of local home staging company The Avenue decided it was time to open a permanent, open-to-the-public store for her business, as customers greatly enjoyed her taste in curated décor, furniture, and gifts.
“We specialize in carrying items that have a collected feel – they are eclectic, vintage, or have a travelled quality to them,” Van Gronigen shared, “Our pieces create warm spaces, are often transitional in style, and they are interesting – they’re literally from all over the world.”
As I browsed the store, I found Van Gronigen’s description to perfectly capture the items on display. The entire store has been designed to give the shopper a feel of home – being able to visualize items in their own kitchens or living room — with it’s built in fireplace and tiled kitchen vignette. All of the items in the store shared a cozy, neutral, and warm color palette – and many gave the space a natural, organic feel.
Shoppe at The Avenue is the perfect place for anyone who’s decorating a new home, redecorating their existing home, or looking for the perfect accent or addition to their existing décor. It’s also an ideal shopping location for gifts for friends, especially those that can be hard to buy for, as the items as so special and unique.
The Shoppe is located on the southwest corner of Bullard & West in the Pavillion West Shopping Center next to The UPS Store. Their hours are Monday from 10am – 6pm and weekends from 10am – 4pm.
