Anyone know Stefon from Saturday Night Live? Well, I totally just had a Stefon moment. I was thinking of a way to start this post, and I was going to say something like, “If you want to have a good time, check out the FresYes Fest in Downtown Fresno. It has all the makings of a fun time with good beer and good food.” Now, say that again, but this time with a Stefon voice. Are you laughing? Okay, maybe it’s just me.

So, what’s this FresYes Fest I speak of? (Even though our name is the same, this is not our event. Having said that, we certainly support it!) It’s a free event celebrating the anniversary of the opening of Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. was founded in 2007, and is located in downtown Fresno. They brew all of their own beer, and have tasty flavors. Something unique about Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co. is that they like to bring awareness to the Southern Sierra Nevada. Every year they donate money to non-profit organizations that help with the preservation of the Southern Sierra Nevada. This means that every time you buy a beer, you’re also helping to preserve the beauty of our mountains. Isn’t that great?!
I’m sure by this point you may have already heard a lot about the FresYes Fest. However, let me give you more specific details about the event.
*First of all-admission is free. You’ll have to pay for the beer and for the food, but it will be well worth it! Here’s a list of the food trucks that will be there.
*All of Tioga-Sequoia’s beers will be available on tap, and they will also be debuting new flavors!
*Beer lovers can sign up to tour the brewery.
*Now for the entertainment! Here’s who you have to look forward to hearing…

*The event goes from 1-11pm. There will be parking available all around, and the meters are free on Saturday, so no need to worry! The address is 746 Fulton, Fresno, CA 93721.

Finally, let me just remind you of how great this event will be. There will be good beer, good food, and good entertainment. What I love most about this event is that it’s downtown. I have a new found love of downtown, and I’m happy to see events that bring people into the downtown area. So, (insert Stefon voice again) if you’re looking for a fun event this Saturday, look no further than Fulton and Inyo streets. Take a date, friend, or spouse and enjoy all that FresYes Fest 2015 has to offer!
